Provides cancer genetic and psychosocial counseling to patients; serves as an educator, consultant and researcher in cancer genetic programs. Collaborate with other local and national cancer genetics programs and appropriate health care professionals to gain new insights, which enhance the services provided at the Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment and Cancer Prevention Program. Supervise genetic counseling students. Market and promote the Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment and Cancer Prevention Program . The staff member provides comprehensive care based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Provision of care is given as described in the Scottsdale Healthcare Patient Care Policies and service or unit specific Department Operating Policies. The staff member provides first-line management of staff/resources during a designated time frame.
